Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to be fit to be able to do Reformer Pilates? 

No - at Studio K Pilates we cater for all fitness levels and abilities. We cater from Beginners to Intermediate at this stage and guide you through each movement. ​

​Can I do Reformer Pilates when I am pregnant?

Yes!  You can do Reformer Pilates all the way through your pregnancy with modifications to suit each trimester.​​

Is there an age limit?

We do not recommend it for children under 12 due to their bodies still growing quite quickly.

​​Is there a weight limit?

Our machines hold up to 150kg.​​

How many times a week should I do classes?

That is a personal choice and depends on your availability and budget. ​

What should I wear?

We recommend comfortable stretchy clothing that allows for ease of movement.  Grip socks are essential. ​

Are the classes mixed?

Yes - females and males welcome.

​How many in each class?

We have 4 reformers so max 4 in each class. ​​
