About
Hi, I’m Katy, a 51-year-old wife and mum of two kids and one dog.
Last year I discovered Reformer Pilates and instantly fell in love with how it made me feel. Stronger, calmer, and more balanced both physically and mentally.
After years of working full-time in Human Resources, I had a lightbulb moment one day whilst laying on the reformer and asked myself, “Why not do something else I truly love?”
I did and now, I’ve turned that passion into my new career, and aim to help others experience the same transformation as myself.
So come and join me in my brand new home studio and fall in love with Reformer Pilates like I did.

FAQ's
Do I have to be fit to be able to do Reformer Pilates?
No - at Studio K Pilates we cater for all fitness levels and abilities.
We cater from Beginners to Intermediate at this stage and guide you through each movement.
Can I do Reformer Pilates when I am pregnant?
Yes! You can do Reformer Pilates all the way through your pregnancy with modifications to suit each trimester.
Is there an age limit?
We do not recommend it for children under 12 due to their bodies still growing quite quickly.
Is there a weight limit?
Our machines hold up to 150kg.
How many times a week should I do classes?
That is a personal choice and depends on your availability and budget.
What should I wear?
We recommend comfortable stretchy clothing that allows for ease of movement. Grip socks are essential.
Are the classes mixed?
Yes - females and males welcome.
How many in each class?
We have 4 reformers so max 4 in each class.
